This Course is designed to equip learners with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of formwork in construction. It delves into Formwork Planning and Monitoring, a crucial aspect in construction, encompassing the strategic configuration, scope, and costing of formwork. The course provides the learners a thorough understanding of modular formwork and aluminium formwork systems in various construction scenarios. Formwork assembly for wall and column panels, equipment handling, layout planning, and safety protocols for efficient formwork erection are detailed in the course. Additionally, it provides essential information on the common causes of formwork failure, empowering learners to adopt a proactive approach in preventing and addressing challenges during formwork construction. Overall formwork costing for the project such as material cost, labor cost, and plant & machinery cost and cost optimization are elaborated.
